Attila PokIn this keynote presentation, Attila Pok uses sources by politicians, social scientists, writers and artists to survey Hungary’s position in 20th-century historical and political thought. Examining Hungarian self-perception in a European and global context, particularly in the period between 1948-2004, Pok highlights the temptations, disappointments and expectations of Hungarian intellectuals in a bipolar world.
